FAQ
Questions station owners ask us
Do my attendants need smartphones?
A basic Android phone is enough — the attendant flow is designed for entry-level devices and slow connections. If an attendant has no phone, the manager can start and close shifts on their behalf from the station phone.
We already use a paper logbook and WhatsApp. Why switch?
Paper can't do maths. Stationpilot computes expected cash from the meter readings the moment a shift closes, so shortages surface the same day — not at month-end stock counts. WhatsApp photos stay attached to each shift as evidence.
Does it work for cooking gas (LPG) stations?
Yes. LPG is tracked in kilograms with its own meters, prices and tank thresholds, exactly the same way PMS and AGO are tracked in litres.
What happens when there is no network?
Drafts are saved on the device as the attendant types, and submissions retry automatically when the connection returns.
Can I run more than one station?
Yes. Owners see every station on one dashboard and can drill into any station, pump or attendant. Managers only see the stations you assign to them.
How do I get my staff onto the app?
Invite them by email or phone from the Staff page. You can move staff between stations or remove them anytime — their past shift records stay intact.
